However, the last 2 (or 3) pitches of Galoschen are the nicer finish than the final pitches of Sandührliweg. As I wrote above, my impression of the mantle in the last pitch was also more that of a 6c. But Werner (with whom I rebolted the route) and his friends later found a good method for that move it so that it felt a bit easier.

Cheers, Marcel

PS: the very last pitch of Sandührliweg isn't a giveaway for a 6b either, imho.Marcelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17353824452017556112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3463150491870029132.post-51922841235442781602018-05-14T08:53:09.542+02:002018-05-14T08:53:09.542+02:00Hi Marcel, nice work. That time I thought that there are no bolts in Galoschen (as shown in the Alpstein SAC book) so that is why. Anyway it felt oo hard to be only 6b so I was searching and I found this post about rebolting and now it is clear :) Anyway, the last pitch felt ot me more like 6b+/6c but maybe because Iam not used to such climbing style :)Radekhttps://www.facebook.com/radek.podskubkanoreply@blogger.com
